Mile Brujic, OD, FAAO
Mile Brujic, OD, FAAO is a 2002 graduate of the New England College of Optometry.  He is a partner of Premier Vision Group, a successful three location optometric practice in Northwest Ohio.  He practices full-scope optometry with an emphasis on ocular disease management of the anterior segment and specialty contact lenses.  He is active at all levels of organized optometry.  Dr. Brujic is on the editorial board for a number of optometric publications.  He has published over 350 articles and has given over 1600 lectures, both nationally and internationally on contemporary topics in eye care.  


Joe DeLoach, OD, FAAO 
Dr. Deloach's career includes private practice, medical director of one the nation’s largest optometric referral centers, and former Clinical Professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry where he was director for medical eye care services at clinics serving over 8,000 indigent patients each year. He is noted lecturer on ocular disease, billing and coding, and health care compliance having presented over 3000 hours in education.  Dr. DeLoach is President and CEO of Practice Compliance Solutions, a company providing medical compliance, insurance billing, record audits, and practice management services.



Melonie Clemmons, OD
Melonie Clemmons, OD, is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry.  She currently practices in Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Georgia. Dr. Clemmons practices full-scope comprehensive eye care with a focus on dry eye management and ocular disease prevention through nutrition education. She is active in optometry leadership roles, serving as a Trustee at Large for the Georgia Optometric Association (GOA), as Vice-President of AACO, a former member of the Walmart Doctor Advisory Panel, and a member of the Ocular Wellness Society (OWNS). Dr. Clemmons lectures on nutrition with emphasis on how nutrition affects the vascular system and ocular health as well as innovative dry eye treatments. She was awarded the Media Spokesperson for Transition Lenses (2009), received Walmart Doctor of the Year Award for her district (2010), was presented with the Beacon of Hope Award ((2017), and received the AACO Member of the Year Award (2018). She has been featured in Eye Care Business Magazine, ForesightAcuity in BusinessAACO Electrifeye Journal, and the GOA [email protected] Newsletter.


Naheed Ahmad, OD
Dr. Ahmad is the Immediate Past President of AACO.  In 2004 she was awarded Wal-Mart’s National Optometrist of the Year and has been the optometrist of her region for 4 separate years. She has also been a lecturer for Alcon and Bausch and Lomb and on the editorial panel for Women of Optometry.


Jeffry Gerson, OD
Dr. Jeffry Gerson graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1997, after which he went on to do a VA residency concentrating in low vision and ocular disease.  He has been in several different practice settings, including a retina referral practice where he participated in several large clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Gerson is in private practice that is a collaboration of both OD’s and MD’s.  He sees primary care patients and has an emphasis on retinal care in his practice.  He enjoys having 4th-year optometry interns with him and the challenges that they present.  He still participates in clinical trials and utilizes many different diagnostic modalities.  Dr. Gerson is a frequent lecturer in the US and abroad and writes regularly for optometric publications.  When not at work, he enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with his family.
